So you may have noticed in (or rather, above) my last post that I was reading book one of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, titled The Gunslinger. This will be my second time reading through it. I thought that I would take this time to tell you something about that series:

READ. IT.

Seriously, though, it's my favorite written work ever. And I'm a big LotR fan, and an even bigger Hitchhiker's fan, and you must know that I consider this the best thing I've ever read. Ever. Especially the ending. I won't give anything away (and please don't spoil it for yourself. Even if you don't plan on reading it, don't spoil it for yourself, because you might end up reading it later and it won't be as good then.), but I cannot imagine a more satisfying ending to anything. It's PERFECT.

If you HAVE read the books, let me know in the comments what you think, and we'll have a nice lively conversation about it. Hooray!

Blogging is not easy for me. So often, I feel like I have nothing to say. And that's in conversation. Forget posting to a site no-one sees! But, I have some kind of news, so I figured I'd put it here as well.

I've started selling chainmail that I make online. The site is www.manlyknitting.etsy.com. I also bought my first domain name, www.manlyknitting.com, which for now simply redirects to the first site. ALSO, I registered www.manlyknitting.blogspot.com. That site is slightly more likely to be updated than this one, so if you really want to know about me and what I'm doing, that is a good site to check as well. Also www.twitter.com/daffyinthehead. Hey everyone! Not gonna post much here, as I don't see the point - any possible readers are surely gone by this point.

Just wanted to say that I'm really so happy that A Flea in her Ear is being so well received by everyone! I love comedy, and I'm glad so many other people do too. Fucking laughter, man. What is more powerful? Some would say tears, I guess, but I wouldn't. It's all about smiling.

Hi.

Right now, Katie's washing the dishes and talking on the phone, and I'm trying to surprise her by finally updating my Xanga. I want you all to know how amazing she is.

For Valentine's Day, do you know what she gave me?

A Nintendo Wii.

You read that right, a Wii. Plus an extra controller, an extra nunchuck, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Now you know just how awesome she is. She bought me a fucking Wii! Jesus! We've been playing a ton of Wii Sports and a bit of Twilight Princess, and our arms are sore from the Sports. Man is this thing fun!

In other news, the snow is still everywhere, and my car is stuck in ice up to the tops of the tires, which means I've been using Katie's car to deliver papers. It's weird compared to mine, for some reason.

I've also been wearing my snow boots pretty much every day. They're size 12, which, if you don't know, is much too big for my feet. It's like carrying around small weights on my feet, but I like them anyway. They're clunky and crazy.

So the snow has also meant I've gotten to spend much more time with Katie, which is always great. Now she's coming back into the room, so I have to go.
